Your
Clinical Edge is an interactive self-study CD-ROM that provides
the latest information on the use of ultrasonics in relation to
the treatment of periodontal disease and provides advanced clinical
techniques for the use of air polishing. This dynamic presentation
features video clips that allow the user to see the latest technology
being used clinically. A glossary of terms defines new vocabulary.
The content of the CD-ROM is scientifically based and features citations
from the latest scientific literature along with a full bibliography.
Helpful Hints resource is available to provide additional information
on a specific topic. The navigation instructions are easy to follow
and will guide the user through the navigation buttons and the features
of the CD-ROM. Upon completion of each section, the user will be
asked to complete a quiz. These tests will be used to administer
the CE credits for the self-study program. Two CE credits will be
issued for the successful completion of the ultrasonics section
and three CE credits will be awarded for the successful completion
of both the ultrasonics and air polishing portion.
